Knowing the proper body position in playing guitar

I think these are basic guitar tips to knowing the proper body position in playing guitar, so you can play the guitar comfortably and will be easier to move the hand and fingers in playing the guitar.

Here are three basic body positions in playing the classical guitar / solo guitar:

1. Playing guitar while sitting

Basically, in playing the classical guitar we play the melody and bass simultaneously. Sitting position is very ideal and easier than playing guitar while standing. Does not mean in playing solos guitar you are required to sit, but it does not matter if you are more comfortable playing the guitar solo while standing.

2. Sitting using treadle/footstool

Highly recommended to use a treadle or footstool, this is to prevent the guitar fell out of your left foot.

3. Guitar propped up with your left foot

To strengthen the position of your body in playing the guitar, the bottom of the guitar propped up with your left foot, so your left hand will be more free to move.
